KVIFF

This year I had the great opportunity to report for the Prague Daily Monitor from the central Europe's most laidback festival, also the so-called "backpackers' festival".

This year's festival hosted such stars as John Malkovich, Antonio Banderas, Isabelle Huppert, or Miloš Forman.

I've also predicted the best film to win the Grand Prix Crystal Globe award, which, as it turned out, was the right guess.

Check out the daily reports here, there's also a slideshow of the best KVIFF had to offer, pics were taken by Martin Mráz.

For a report that takes you behind the scenes of the fest and interview with the award-winning documetarist Marko Škop, fetch the latest issue of the Prague Monitor Magazine. Out now.
